"Crossing the Line: Culture, Race, and Kingdom" Workshop Videos

Written by  Michael & MyCresha Burns -- Minneapolis, MN, USA Monday, 29 January 2018 19:42

X-ing BlackJoin Michael Burns, a teacher in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Church of Christ, and his wife MyCresha as they build upon two decades of learning and experience in the disciplines of history, theology, and cultural studies to examine the powerful influences of culture and race in the Kingdom of God and examine how the church can interact with the world when it comes to these potentially explosive topics. Each of the four parts of this series ends with group discussion questions and is appropriate for individual viewing, use in a small group or Bible Talk, or for an entire congregation.

These main sessions of the original workshop filmed at the Gateway City Church in St. Louis are being made available at no charge, but we do ask that if you watch it as individuals or in a small group that you would make a minimum $5 per person donation to the African Missions Association. If a church chooses to view the series, we request that you consider a minimum of $1 per member donation to the African Missions Association. Thank you for your generosity and support.
